As a 3D laser welding system, the TruLaser Cell 3000 by German manufacturer Trumpf, which is headquartered in Ditzingen, is one of the perfectionists of its kind and complements the series of the TruLaser Cell 7040 and the TruLaser Cell 8030. With its wide range of applications, it is also used in 2D and 3D laser cutting, laser welding, and laser buildup welding making it an all-around perfect laser system from the Trumpf brand. The universally applicable technology with its compact and highly precise 5-axis enables you to use it for two- and three-dimensional welding and cutting tasks, as well as for laser buildup welding (LMD). This means that neither the production of prototypes nor large series is no longer a problem, because the extensive automation only demonstrates the capabilities of the TruLaser Cells 3000 – by the way, it makes no difference here whether the parts are small or medium-sized, because thanks to Trumpf technology, every part is produced in the best quality.
Applications and features of the TruLaser Cell 3000
Benefit from the enormous process flexibility that allows you to weld, cut and LMD with a simple, straightforward and, above all, fast process adapter change. As for flexibility in general, the machine can also be easily customized for higher volume production. Since the user interface developed for the TruLaser Cell 3000 by Trumpf is based on the Siemens 840D solution line, this allows the focus to be placed on user-friendliness and ergonomics. During the cutting process, you use the controls that have already been stored by the manufacturer. These cutting parameters refer to the most common laser types, material types, and thicknesses.
The areas of application could hardly be more extensive: from laser-cut kitchen knives to parts for operating tables to heat shields, the machine easily covers a wide range of areas. For example, in the production of kitchen knives, the TruLaser Cell 3000 reduces tool wear as well as costs, resulting in enormous overall cost and time savings. Depending on the application, you can choose the laser that is right for you: the TruLaser Cell 3000 can be equipped with many Trumpf solid-state lasers of up to 8 kW, and even higher laser powers are available on request.
