The HP Jet Fusion 340 printer is one of the latest models unveiled by the American manufacturer HP. Like the HP Jet Fusion 540 printer, these two additive manufacturing solutions make it possible to create functional parts from the polyamide material: PA 12. The Jet Fusion 340 can print parts in black or white. It has a printing volume of 190 x 254 x 248 mm.
The HP Jet Fusion 340 printer, based on Multi Jet Fusion technology
This 3D machine is based on Multi Jet Fusion technology, developed by the manufacturer. This uses a fine-grained PA 12 polyamide material, which produces ultra-fine layers of 80 microns (0.08 mm). The result is high-density and low porosity parts compared to PA 12 parts produced by laser sintering. Multi Jet Fusion technology also provides a smooth surface and functional parts require only a minimal finish once produced. This means short delivery times. This technology has been specially developed for the production of functional prototypes and small series of final parts.
With the HP Jet Fusion 340 printer it is possible to print your parts ten times faster than the FDM and SLS printers on the market. This reduces the cost per part and significantly reduces your production time.
