The Dragonfly 2020 is the first 3D printer of its kind. The technology behind it combines 3D printing with metal and polymers to produce so-called PCBs. The device is intended to give electrical engineers the freedom that 3D printing has already given to mechanical engineers. The various materials, including dielectric resins and electrically conductive nanoinks, enable the printing of finished PCBs. With the Dragonfly 2020, Nano Dimension wants to give the answer to lack of IP security and long delays due to external manufacturing.
