Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic 3D Printing Technician to join our cutting-edge manufacturing team. This is a permanent position that will give you the chance to work with state-of-the-art 3D printing technology and create innovative solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of additive manufacturing, 3D printing, and 3D CAD.

Responsibilities

As a 3D Printing Technician, you will

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot 3D printing equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality.
• Utilize 3D CAD software to design and modify models according to project specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and deliver 3D printed components that meet or exceed expectations.
• Perform quality control checks on 3D printed parts using precision measuring tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in 3D printing technology and additive manufacturing processes.
• Provide technical support and advice to the team on 3D printing technology and processes.
• Manage material usage and inventory to ensure adequate supply for ongoing projects.

Profile

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry or BS degree in engineering or related field
• Proficient in 3D CAD software and other design tools.
• Hands-on experience with 3D printing technology and additive manufacturing processes.
• Strong understanding of material properties and design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High level of mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine maintenance on 3D printing equipment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Proven track record of producing high-quality 3D printed components.
